Over time, Service Users may implement new systems, take on new business or merge with other organisations. These activities may result in changes of Service User Number, Legal Entity or Direct Debit Reference Numbers. All changes of this nature will require changes to instructions held at banks and therefore involve a Bulk Change.

A Bulk Change can take upwards of 6 weeks to undertake and will need to be carefully planned before hand, so that payers are not affected and collections continue without interference.
